Mega Drive Control Pad (Model Number 1650 and 1650-50)
This is the standard issue controller that is packed in with every Mega Drive. SEGA finally moved away from the boxy form factors of the Master System and developed a far more ergonomic design. Still not the most comfortable design as the flat backs of the controllers feel a little awkward in the hand. Model 1650 was the pack-in controller with the original Mega Drive and features a white start button. Model 1650-50 features a red start button and was bundled with the Mega Drive II.
